It was a roller coaster weekend. From worry, frustration and hope to relief, Benjamin Lessennes went through all the emotions on the Circuit Paul Ricard. However, the 21 year-old Belgian succeeded in his challenge: to win the title of French FFSA GT Champion in the Silver Cup with the BMW M4 GT4 of the L'Espace Bienvenue team and Ricardo van der Ende as team-mate.

Unquestionably among the favourites for the French FFSA GT Championship, Benjamin Lessennes and his team-mate Ricardo van der Ende have largely assumed their status since the beginning of this 2020 season. At Magny-Cours, the duo from L'Espace Bienvenue was not the fastest. And yet, with a 3rd place on Saturday (and 2nd in the Silver Cup) then a victory on the wire on Sunday, they are the big winners of this weekend in the Nièvre.
